An Audience with Jonathan Veira

Jonathan is a baritone with a superb voice and a tremendous personality. He has a unique ability to perform a range of musical styles - in essence a musical chameleon. He sings ballads, jazz, rock 'n' roll and blues as well as some popular operatic arias, accompanying himself with great flair on both piano and guitar.

Blending humour with his talents as a musician, this larger-than-life character will captivate audiences of young and old alike. He will have them rolling in the aisles as he regales them with his personal anecdotes from a lifetime of performing!

As an opera singer he has sung all around the world in many of the major opera houses. He has received great acclaim for his performances which include Falstaff, Don Magnifico, Dulcamara,Leporello and many more. However, An Audience With Jonathan Veira is not just a great night out, it is more like an evening with a friend!

I laughed so much that I cried! I cheered so much that my throat went dry! I applauded like there was no tomorrow!

I haven't laughed so much in ages! A wonderful mix of the respectfully irreverent humour and the world-class voice of Mr Veira.

A wonderful evening of humour and gentle pathos created through exceptional musical talent and genuine personality.

An eminently likeable, amusing and thoroughly entertaining artist.

Jonathan Veira is an internationally acclaimed bass baritone opera singer, performing with various companies including The Royal Opera House, Glyndebourne, English National Opera, Scottish Opera, Welsh National Opera and in the major opera houses in Stockholm, Copenhagen, Oslo, Lyons, Lille, Geneva, Zurich, Strasbourg, Montpellier, Auckland.... to name but a few!
